The ACKC is all about it’s members and racing. We are striving to make karting accessible to anyone who wants to race, male or female from ages 7 and up. The ACKC track is located on Albany Highway adjacent to the Albany Regional Airport and is arguably one of the best tracks in WA. It is only 10 minutes from the Albany CBD and is well equipped to deliver your racing experience. The club holds race meetings each month along with 2 Open meetings a year where drivers from around the State come to participate.
ACKC hosted the 2011 State Championships which was a first in the clubs history and resulted in having the clubs first State Champion crowned. The funds raised from holding this event, along with a lot of fundraising from members, have enabled the club to recently increase the size of the track to 935m and improve the facilities at the track. So come along to the next race meeting and check out some great racing along with a fun and family friendly atmosphere.

The Bunbury City Kart Club was formed on 11th June 1981 by five members: Vince Ciallella, Vince Marney, Bob Clayden, Terry Haskett & Vernon Marney. The price of a club membership was $7.The membership of the club grew to a whopping 135 members in the first year. This was reason enough to have a club newsletter. The “Kart Torque” first came off the press in September 1982. With the first issue being auctioned.
The successful bidder was John Denton who paid $37 for the masterpiece. This publication was one that allowed members to share all their racing news, views & brags. The Bunbury City Kart Club also hosted street meetings, (Racing along Blair St) in 1993, 1994 & 1995. These were very popular grand prix races with around 100 entrants; however the organisation and work to achieve these meetings was massive.

The original Dirt Trackers Kart Club was run under AKA (Australian Karting Association). DTKC changed to the AIDKA (Australian Independent Dirt Kart Association) banner in 1992/1993 and has grown to its current membership of 200 racing members and 80 social members. The Dirt Trackers Kart Club can now boast State and National Champions.

The track is located on the old Ejanding football oval 22kms north of the active Dowerin farming community, 1.75hrs north east of Midland. The Hurricane Go Kart Club was established in 1961 and is situated approximately 70 km east of Perth CBD, Western Australia. The circuit was upgraded in 1993, and it is licensed for 32 karts to be on the track at any one time. Extensions carried out in 2002 saw the track length increase to 752 metres and at 8 metres wide, it offers a variety of straights, curves and hairpins to challenge all classes of competitors.

The Karratha Kart Club began its history in 1973 when a group of people gauged a feasibility study to form a Kart Club to race the then go karts, a Public Meeting was held at the then Walkabout Hotel. A group of 11 people in total, attended the meeting. The Club, at one time, was the largest in Western Australia and can certainly boast to being one of the oldest clubs, it with great appreciation that the major sponsor for the club over the years has been the Roebourne Shire Council, thank you to all Shire Councillors past and present for their help.
Who knows one day it may pay off, from this small mining town we may produce a young person who will go on to be a World Class Champion in Motor Sport, after all this is the sport were over 80% of Formula 1 Drivers start their career.

The WA Superkart club was established in 1970 and has approximately 30 racing members and 10 social members. Including 3 life members. The club races 6 classes of karts, these include 100cc non-gearbox, 80cc junior and senior, 125 whisper class (controlled), 125cc motorcross, 125 GP class and 250cc national. Race meetings are conducted at Barbagallo Raceway, Wanneroo on a monthly basis. The races are usually over 5 heats ranging from 6 – 10 laps on distance covering approximately 12 -20kms in length. The clubs Premier events include The Bob Sully 2-hour endurance race, Dale Cup, 5 round State Championship, The King of Karts and also several club days.
All members eagerly support these events and Sprintkart drivers are also welcome to participate with the WASC. The club has an ongoing responsibility to foster new membership to this form of karting and various activities are arranged to show the vehicles and their abilities. These range from street circuit racing in the Joondalup classis and the Goomalling Historic Flyer, Drag racing at Quit Motorplex, Kwinana Beach, educational visits to metropolitan Senior High Schools, Hill Climbs and Motorkhana events. These prove very popular and generate immense interest with the public.

Tiger Kart Club (Inc) is a busy, vibrant club formed to provide sprint kart racing for members. Tiger Kart Club has some 240 licenced drivers as well as a considerable number of social and non driving members. The club is fortunate to have two international standard racing facilities one located south of the river, Cockburn International Kartway, Gemma Road, Henderson, and the other near Barbagallo Raceway, Wanneroo International Kartway, located at Wattle Avenue, Neerabup.
Both tracks are licensed for 40 karts. Usually for an “Open” meeting, the “full track” is used 1070m for Cockburn, and 1025m for Wanneroo. At both tracks, we are able to run clockwise and there are many different configurations and track lengths available at each track and these are generally used on Club Days.
