Do you want to have fun and get fit at the same time? Why not spend some quality time with the family whilst exercising. We`ve got just the thing for you! The Bunbury Cross Country Running Club has a friendly, relaxed and social atmosphere and best of all it`s lots of fun. We meet every Sunday during the winter season at different locations around Bunbury and surrounding areas. The 2015 season starts on 27th April and continues through to September. We have events every weekend for Juniors to Seniors and events for those who prefer to walk and take the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Bring morning tea to enjoy afterwards.
The usual time for registration is 0945am and the run starts at 10 am. It would be advisable getting there no later than 0930am to join the queue for registration. Every season track & field starts late October or early November, which comprises of; WA State Allschools (Late October)/ Under 18 Men & Women Relays (Early November) / Australian All Schools (Early December) / WA State Championships (Mid February) / Open Men & Women Relays (Late February) / Australian Junior Championships (Mid March) & finishing the season off with the Australian Track & Field Championships (Early April).
To make the Australian Junior Championship Team or Australian Open Track & Field Championships athletes need to beat an entry standards set by Athletica or finish top 3 either at WA State Allschools or WA State Champs.
