The “Brush-Strokes and Beyond” Art Group currently meet at the Mt Gravatt Show Ground in the Main Building near the Logan Road Entrance every Tuesday morning commencing at 8:30 am through to 1:00 pm, with a break for morning tea at 10:30. The group is open to any person who enjoys painting in any medium and enjoys exchanging ideas about different techniques of painting. There is no formal instructions about how to paint, as the group consists of Retired People who enjoy painting in a group setting and having social contact with like minded people. Currently the group consists of equal numbers of Male and Female Artists who are retired from the workforce. The cost is only $10.00 per week with one artist supplying morning tea on a roster basis.
