Formed in 2004 by Robbie Grimstone and mates, after the loss of his mother to Cancer in Queensland. They discussed ways to a make a difference in the fight against Cancer. They enjoyed motorcycles, so a social club designed for raising funds for Cancer Research was formed. Here is SA CRAB is a non-profit organisations run by volunteers, donating all profits to the Hanson Institute at the Royal Adelaide Hospital via the National Cancer Research Foundation.
Welcoming young, old, singles and families to join us on monthly, weekend and special events. Currently we have members from all over South Australia, meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month @ Smithfield Hotel, 10-12pm. Clare Motorcycle Club is a family club catering for Motorcross, Enduro and Dirt riders of all ages. Clare Motorcycle Club is based at Clare in the Mid North of South Australia, 130kms north of Adelaide in the Clare Valley Wine Region and adjacent to the Barossa Valley. The Clare MCC is one of the oldest, continuous Motorcycle Clubs in Australia, and boasts a number of member and past members who have made an impact in the National arena. Clare MCC has a large number of social and competitive Junior and Senior riders.
The Club has a strong emphasis on Coaching, Events and Ride Days, with additional single track ride days, camping weekend, etc throughout the year. While our Club riders compete locally and interstate, we welcome those not interested in competition to participate in our Club Ride Days, improve skills through our Coaching days and social activities. The social aspect of these events reinforces the camaraderie that exists between motorcyclists Australia wide. We have a Club track near to the Clare township, and also hold ride days, events, camping weekends, etc, on other private properties in the District.
